Decide whether harmonies should remain
For a backing track with background singers, choose karaoke maker. For an instrumental without the broader vocal part, use vocal remover. These outputs serve different purposes; trying both on a permitted recording is more informative than relying on the tool names alone.
Prepare your source
Start with the best original file available. AIstemify accepts MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A and OGG up to 50 MB. Converting an MP3 to WAV will not recover missing detail. Avoid clipping and keep a copy of the untouched mix.
Separation does not grant music rights. Ensure you have permission for your intended processing, performance, sharing or publication. Owning a separated file does not necessarily authorize distributing it.
Submit and check progress
- Open the relevant tool and select or drag in your audio.
- Sign in or register when submitting. Eligible new accounts may receive five promotional credits; eligibility restrictions apply.
- Check the displayed cost. Every song costs at least one credit. Minute remainders below 30 seconds are dropped; at 30 seconds the count rounds up.
- Submit once and follow the task's status. Submitted processing tasks cannot be cancelled.
- Open Task List to find processing, completed and failed tasks. Filter by file name and creation date if needed.
Preview before exporting
Check a verse, a loud chorus and the ending. Listen for lead-vocal bleed, missing harmonies and instrument damage. No model can guarantee perfect removal from every mix. Do not repeatedly process the same output without comparing it against the original.
Completed, unexpired tasks offer preview and download controls. Select the desired track and available format in the same row. MP3 is convenient for playback; WAV is useful for further editing where offered. Keep both the source and the chosen backing track in your own storage.
Understand the purchase
The current $4.99 pack includes 34 base credits plus 17 bonus credits, 51 in total. The $9.99 pack totals 120; $24.99 totals 360. These are one-time top-ups. Approximate minutes depend on per-song rounding; a collection of short clips can consume credits faster than its total duration suggests.
Download before expiry
Successful results currently expire seven days after completion. Expired tasks keep history but hide download controls. A failed processing task returns its charged credits. Payment refunds are a different process: consult the refund policy and contact support with your order reference.
